Rapid Set 45

Description
A fast-setting, non-slump, cement patching and repair compound.

Uses
A fast-set, patching repair compound for internal repairs of concrete and masonry surfaces (cement render brick and block). Typical applications are; repairing concrete stairs; patching holes in floors and walls and for forming falls from feather edge to 45mm and for forming coves. Patching and filling different floor levels and repairing around windows, doors, pipes etc. Can be fortified with Elastabond to improve durability.

Specification
The repair compound will be a non-slump, fast-setting, polymer-modified cement system with a compressive strength of 31MPa, such as Rapid Set 45, manufactured by Construction Chemicals and shall be applied in accordance with the manufacturer’s application instructions.

Limitations
Rapid Set 45 is intended for interior use only. Do not use in areas subject to standing water. Do not install on substrate of ambient temperatures below 10°C.
