Megaswell is a Hydrophilic Bentonite Polymer Waterstop

• Megaswell 1020 must have at least 50 mm of concrete coverage and is designed for use with concrete pours between 150 mm and 200 mm thick
• Megaswell 2025 must have at least 75 mm of concrete coverage and is designed for concrete pours over 200 mm thick.

Product Features:

• Swells up to 300% in contact with water to create a watertight seal

Installation Guidelines:

Ensure substrate is clean, sound, and free from dust, oil, or laitance. Position the waterstop centrally in the joint and secure using Sealproof SMP Adhesive/Sealant, nails, or mesh as required. Ensure complete continuity at splices by overlapping or butting ends. Avoid exposure to water prior to concrete placement.

Limitations:

• This product is not designed for use under brick or blockwork
• Do not apply in standing water or when the product will be imminently exposed to rain
• Megaswell must be fully adhered to the concrete substrate prior to pouring concrete on it

Packing & Storage:

• Megaswell 1020: 10 x 20 mm profile, 10 m/roll, 5 rolls per box (50 m total)
• Megaswell 2025: 20 x 25 mm profile, 5 m/roll, 5 rolls per box (25 m total)
• Colour: Black
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
• Protect from premature water exposure during storage and installation
