The Bathroom Waterproofing Kit contains the following: 

• BluProof bathroom waterproofing membrane 15L

• Aquaprime-GP 2.5L

• Hyperband Tape 10m

• T-Rex Power Bond Steel Grey 290mL

• 230mm Roller cover & frame

• 100mm Brush

BluProof meets the requirements of: 

• AS4858 Wet Area Membranes as a Class III bathroom waterproofing membrane
• AS3740 Waterproofing of Wet Areas Within Residential Buildings
• 1 & AS4654.2 Waterproofing Membranes for External Above Ground Use

BluProof forms a flexible and high tensile membrane finish displaying good high build reinforced properties, providing an easy to use single component membrane for vertical and horizontal surfaces.

BluProof offers excellent adhesion properties over building substrates including concrete, masonry, renders, cement sheeting, wet area sheet surfaces and plaster board surfaces. Possesses outstanding low water vapour transmission properties and fully compatible with polymer modified cement-based tiles adhesives, screeds and renders.

Important Notes: 

• BluProof is not UV stable and should not be used as a permanently exposed membrane
• Polymer modified cement-based tile adhesives such as Gripset C-Mastic or Dribond Monoflex are recommended for direct adhesion to the membrane
• Acrylic or SBR bonding agents are recommended for applications of screeds and renders directly over the membrane
• Best storage conditions are in a dry area at room temperature, avoiding humidity and frost
• Product while in a wet state will clean up with water. Once dry, product may be removed by mechanical means or with xylene solvent
• If exposed to weather, do not apply if rain is imminent (within 12 hours at 20OC), or if the substrate and/or ambient temperature is below 10OC or above 35OC
• Applying the membrane in cold temperatures, a high humidity environment or where there is limited or no air flow over the membrane may result in the membrane failing to dry
